Procedure to Apply for D.Ed Program 

Step 1: Check Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: General category candidates should have at least 50% aggregate marks, and reserved category candidates should have at least 45%.

Step 2: Register Online

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) or the specific portal for D.Ed admissions.
  2. Create an Account: Register by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number.
  3. Login: Use the credentials sent to your email/phone to log in.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

  1. Personal Information: Enter your personal details including name, parents' names, date of birth, gender, etc.
  2. Educational Details: Provide information about your academic qualifications, including marks and the board of examination.
  3. Upload Documents: Scan and upload necessary documents such as:
    • Recent passport-sized photograph
    • Signature
    • Mark sheets and certificates of 10th and 12th standard
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • Domicile certificate

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  1. Choose Payment Method: Options typically include credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
  2. Pay the Fee: The application fee varies for different categories. Ensure the payment is successful and keep the receipt for future reference.

Step 5: Submit the Application

  • Review: Double-check all the details filled in the application form.
  • Submit: Once satisfied, submit the application form online.

Step 6: Download and Print Application Form

After submission, download and print a copy of the completed application form for your records.

Step 7: Admit Card

  • Notification: Keep an eye on the official website for notifications regarding the admit card release.
  • Download Admit Card: Log in to your account and download the admit card when available. Print multiple copies for safety.

Step 8: Entrance Exam

  • Prepare for the Exam: Study the prescribed syllabus and previous years’ question papers.
  • Appear for the Exam: Attend the exam at the allotted center on the scheduled date.

Step 9: Results and Counseling

  1. Check Results: Results will be published on the official website. Log in to check your result.
  2. Rank Card: Download your rank card.
  3. Counseling Process: Participate in the counseling process based on your rank. This includes:
    • Document verification
    • Choice filling and locking of preferred colleges
    • Seat allotment

Step 10: Admission to Allotted College

  1. Provisional Admission Letter: Download the provisional admission letter from the official website.
  2. Report to the College: Visit the allotted college with all original documents for verification and complete the admission process.
  3. Pay the College Fee: Pay the required fee as per the college’s guidelines to confirm your admission.

Step 11: Commencement of Classes

Attend the orientation and regular classes as per the schedule provided by the college.
